Darren Rath
Founder and Director
Founder and Director of Corp IT, Darren has expertly grown the business from the ground up. Heralding from a strong commercial background where he worked as a buyer, before starting his entrepreneurial journey with his own retail computer store, Darren is enthusiastic about delivering exceptional customer service to his clients.
Building Corp IT in 2005, Darren saw a gap in the market, to offer outsourced IT with a difference – marrying exceptional service with trusted partnerships. Inspired to support clients in their quest to make often complex technologies simple, Darren has built a thriving business and culture, with a handpicked a team of experts to support his vision.
Responsible for managing the commercial side to Corp IT, Darren invests heavily into his team and training, to ensure consistently high delivery for every client. As an ex professional rock star (literally!) Darren keeps his love of music alive in the office, by playing the guitar and when time allows, enjoying jamming sessions with his team members.
Jai Dametto
Solutions Architect
As the Solutions Architect, Jai is responsible for managing the technical delivery and projects for Corp IT’s clients.
Jai started learning about computers at an early age; with a TAFE IT teacher father, Jai showed an early interest in computers and garnered his love of IT by building computers at a very early age.
Inspired by his father, Jai learned to ensure business and IT always align, and a strong focus is placed on continual learning and development – a trait Jai continues to this day.
Extensively credentialled, Jai is an expert on enabling and deploying technical solutions to solve client’s business challenges. Most recently obtaining his Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert credentials, Jai also holds certifications in Microsoft 365 Security Administrator Associate, Project Management (Prince2), as a StorageCraft Master Engineer and as a Sophos Certified Architect. With an impressive career spanning across Tech Support in the early days, Corporate Australia and then joining Corp IT as an equity partner, Jai’s passion lies in finding IT solutions – aligning technical solutions with client’s business outcomes.
A huge believer in empowering his team, Jai is driving Corp IT’s growth and capability in part by investing and developing his team, to consistently improve upon the IT industry and develop Corp IT’s premium service offering.
Gareth Dods
Service Desk Manager
Gareth leads Corp IT’s Service Desk and is a cornerstone of our business, enabling clients to keep their businesses running smoothly. An established member of the team, Gareth joined Corp IT in 2006, from an impressive and varied background in the military, including time working within the search and rescue team for the NZ Air Force.
Gareth focuses on providing strategic leadership to the service desk team and enjoys the challenge of ensuring the powerhouse behind every business – the IT function – runs seamlessly and effectively. Highly qualified, with industry certifications including as a Microsoft 365 Fundamentals professional, a Sophos XG Certified Engineer, a StorageCraft Certified Master Engineer and an ITIL certified foundation practitioner, Gareth’s experience enables Corp IT clients to continue to innovate, shape and drive their businesses.
With a strong ethos to deliver projects on time, to always deliver best practice solutions and to ensure Corp IT’s clients have a favourable experience, Gareth believes that great relationships are fundamental to a robust business partnership. A family man, Gareth spends time with his wife and son, when not rocking out on the guitar with his fellow musicians, Darren and Jai.
